Our Mission

Our Mission: A Legacy of Service

The Inspiration

  • Content: Revisit the story of King Al-Najashi framing it not just as a historical event, but as a model for action. “Just as King Al-Najashi opened his land to those in need, we open our hearts and resources to the community that still carries his name and legacy.”

Our Vision

  • Statement: A community in the Negash region that is thriving, self-sufficient, and proud of its unique heritage, where every child has access to education and healthcare.

Our Core Pillars

Present these as the foundation’s key areas of focus:

  1. Education & Economic Empowerment: We believe in sustainable change. Our programs provide academic support and, crucially, vocational training (like soap making, sewing, and baking) to equip individuals—especially women and orphans—with skills to build their own futures .
  2. Healthcare & Nutrition: A healthy community is a strong community. We support local health facilities and initiatives focused on maternal and child health, including fighting malnutrition through education and resources .
  3. Orphan Care & Family Support: Honoring the refugees who found shelter here, we provide a safe, nurturing home and education for orphans, giving them the stability and opportunity they deserve .
  4. Heritage Preservation: We are committed to protecting the physical site of the Al-Nejashi Mosque and sharing its powerful story of peace and refuge with the world .

Our Values

  • Compassion: Acting with the same kindness shown by King Al-Najashi.
  • Sustainability: Creating programs that provide long-term solutions, not short-term aid.
  • Respect: Serving all people regardless of faith or background, honoring the interfaith legacy of the site.
  • Transparency: Being accountable to our donors and the community we serve.
