Our Programs

The Al-Nejashi Women’s Empowerment & Vocational Center

Inspired by the orphanage’s soap, sewing, and baking projects.

Headline: Stitching Together a Future
Body: “In the spirit of self-reliance, we are establishing a vocational training center. Here, women and young adults learn marketable skills that create sustainable income for their families.

  • Artisan Soap Making: Participants learn to produce high-quality soap, which is then sold in local markets, providing a steady source of income.
  • Sewing & Enterprise: Our sewing program teaches skills to make clothing and, critically, to produce reusable sanitary pads. This addresses period poverty, keeps girls in school, and creates a micro-business opportunity.
  • Future Bakery: We have plans to launch a community bakery, which will provide affordable bread and pastries to locals while funding the center’s operations.”

Program 2: Supporting Health & Nutrition in Negash

Inspired by the Al-Nejashi Health Centre’s work.

Headline: A Healthy Community is a Strong Community
Body: “Recent years have placed immense strain on local infrastructure. We are committed to supporting the resilience of the Negash community by:

  • Partnering with the Al-Nejashi Health Centre: Providing resources to support its staff and ensure it can continue to serve as a lifeline for families.
  • Fighting Malnutrition: We support programs that teach mothers about nutrition and establish backyard gardens, ensuring that children get the healthy start they deserve.”
