Our Programs

The Al-Nejashi Women’s Empowerment & Vocational Center

1. Al-Nejashi Women’s Empowerment & Vocational Center

Stitching Together a Future

Inspired by the successful soap-making, sewing, and baking initiatives at the orphanage, the Al-Nejashi Women’s Empowerment & Vocational Center aims to equip women and young adults with practical skills that promote self-reliance and economic independence.

At the center, participants receive vocational training that helps them develop marketable skills and generate sustainable income for their families.

Artisan Soap Making
Participants are trained to produce high-quality handmade soap that can be sold in local markets, creating a reliable source of income for families and supporting small-scale entrepreneurship.

Sewing & Enterprise
Our sewing program teaches tailoring and garment-making skills. In addition, participants learn to produce reusable sanitary pads, helping to address period poverty, keep girls in school, and create opportunities for small businesses.

Future Community Bakery
We plan to establish a community bakery that will provide affordable bread and pastries for local residents while generating income to sustain the center’s programs.

2. Supporting Health & Nutrition in AlNegash

A Healthy Community is a Strong Community

In recent years, local infrastructure has faced significant challenges. Our foundation is committed to strengthening the resilience and well-being of the community in Negash through health and nutrition initiatives.

Partnering with the Al-Nejashi Health Centre
We work alongside the Al Nejashi Health Centre by providing resources and support to its staff, helping ensure that it continues to serve as a vital lifeline for families in the community.

Fighting Malnutrition
We support programs that educate mothers about proper nutrition and encourage the creation of backyard gardens, helping families provide healthy and nourishing food for their children.
